sponge-worthy

A phrase coined by Elaine on the TV show "Seinfeld." Refers to Elaine's favorite kind of birth control that was ultimately taken off the market. Elaine bought all the remaining stock she could get her hands on and then hoarded her stash of sponges. She defined her dates as being "sponge-worthy" or not i.e. if they had sex. If he was worth using one of her hoarded sponges!

Jerry- I heard you went out with Bob last night. Was he sponge-worthy?
Elaine- VERY sponge-worthy!

Or alternate response from Elaine-I don't waste my sponges on just anybody. He has to be sponge worthy, Jerry!

your blood's worth bottling

If an Australian says to you that "your blood's worth bottling", he/she is paying you a major compliment.

If an Australian believes you have been of great assistance to him/her in some way,for example solved a worrying problem for the person, had a positive impact on the person's life, been a true and helpful friend to that person, or done something of a significant positive nature for that person then he/she may show his/her very great appreciation for your help by telling you "Mate (or your name), your blood's worth bottling". Generally it is a special compliment only handed out for some personal contribution by you that the person believes is of particular significance to him/her. It is said when other methods of showing your appreciation are not enough, where it may be difficult to put your feelings into words or where it saves you going into a long winded explanation of your feelings.

adj. socialite/carefree/party girl/ditz slang for describing the act of being of some purpose to society or anything for that matter. Implicit by the grammatically erroneous nature of the word (since it's not a real word...yet) is the innocent, fun-loving naiveity that is often associate with a socialite or fun-loving party hopping individual, etc. To be worthful means to be productive, to be person of substance, for however short a period of time.

Related words: non-worthful, adj. To be non-worthful is to behave in ways that are of now value to anyone yourself included. non-worthful behavior includes drinking a 40 on a weekday morning, clubbing 5 nights a week, shopping sprees in the middle of exams, etc. etc.

Hey bitches, cant make dinner at Butter because i need to be worthful in the library for like 3 hours, but i'll meet up with you at aer. xoxo.
