Sephora

The name of a superbe girl. She has dark brown eyes, and dark brown skin and she is just a babe to be around. When you walk towards her and she sees you from a distance, her eyes light up like she is so happy to see you. When you talk to her about your problems, she listens and doesn't interrupt until you're finished. As she has grown up, she's felt insecure and she can often be misinterpreted as shy. This is wrong, it's just that she chooses the right people she wants to be around. She sings really well and has got a really great sense of rhythm. When you're with her, you don't feel put down, or different, or bad about yourself. She makes everything just feel cool, and safe. She wears funky clothes and a wooden necklace in the shape of the African continent. She has the most adorable giggle ever.

If you have a friend called Sephora, don't let her go. She is an absolute rock star and makes you laugh. She will support you no matter what, and will always hear what you have to say (even when it's stupid).
If you have a girlfriend called Sephora, don't let her down. She depends so much on you for love and safety. If she has let you into her world, it's because she fully trusts you, and doing that means giving you every right to hurt her. Don't let that happen.

Sephora: 'Of course! It's to make racism look ridiculous and unnecessary.'
Lily: 'That's right. I really do not have the time or the patience to listen to people rant about other skin colours.'

Shepherd

When you Shepherd something, you accomplish something even though the odds were against you. This is a reference to the game Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 and in the game the main character, Soap, got stabbed by Shepherd with a knife and nearly died but was able to survive and kill Shepherd by throwing the knife inside him at his eye.

I know that the odds are against me but I gotta Shepherd this shit!

Spring Spheres

The new, politically-correct way to say "Easter Eggs." Coined by an unnamed Seattle area elementary school so people's precious little snowflakes won't be inundated with Christian references for our annual traditions.

1. The children were very disappointed that we went to the park to look for Spring Spheres but only found Easter Eggs.

2. Julie's mom was happy to bring Spring Spheres to the PTA meeting. It was too bad that nobody knew what the hell they were.

German Shepherd

The German Shepherd Dog (GSD, also known as an Alsatian), (German: Deutscher Schäferhund) is a breed of large-sized dog that originated in Germany. German Shepherds are a relatively new breed of dog, whose origins date to 1899. As part of the Herding group, the German Shepherd is a working dog developed originally for herding sheep. Because of their strength, intelligence and abilities in obedience training they are often employed in police and military roles, in forces around the world. Due to their loyal and protective nature the German Shepherd is one of the most registered of breeds. Shepherds were bred specifically for their intelligence, a trait for which they are now renowned. They are considered to be the third most intelligent breed of dog, behind Border Collies and Poodles. In the book The Intelligence of Dogs, author Stanley Coren ranked the breed third for intelligence. He found that they had the ability to learn simple tasks after only five repetitions and obeyed the first command given 95% of the time. Coupled with their strength, this trait makes the breed desirable as police, guard, and search and rescue dogs, as they are able to quickly learn various tasks and interpret instructions better than other large breeds. German Shepherds have a reputation for aggression and have been banned in some jurisdictions as a result. In the United States, German Shepherds are responsible for more random bitings than any other breed, and have a known tendency to attack smaller breeds of dogs. Reports have found that statistically German Shepherds are the breed third most likely to attack a person. Another report found that German Shepherds accounted for almost half of the dog bites that required medical attention. These claims have been refuted on the basis that German Shepherds represent a higher proportion of the population than other breeds. However, reports indicate that Shepherds are over-represented when the statistics take into account the difference in population. German Shepherds are highly active dogs, and described in breed standards as self-assured. The breed is marked by a willingness to learn and an eagerness to have a purpose. Shepherds have a loyal nature and bond well with people they know. However, they can become over-protective of their family and territory, especially if not socialized correctly. An aloof personality makes them approachable, but not inclined to become immediate friends with strangers. German Shepherds are highly obedient and not easily distracted, but due to their strong self-will must be trained by "a firm hand".

I named my German Shepherd Sam after the dog in Will Smith's I Am Legend which is also a GSD.
