Minion kittens. When an evil being or entity gathers to them dark forces to do their evil bidding, and all they can get are kittens, they've got mittens.

Also; cats who follow their person around everywhere, as though they intend to be helpful, but really just want to sleep near them.

Sorcerer: "Go, my Mittens, and bring me the Dark Crystal of Power!"

BOILED MITTENS

A type of mitten knitted using fine sized needles from worsted wool.
They are made aproximately 30% larger than needed for the finished size, then boiled in hot water and left to air dry.
The mitten when shrunken is almost waterproof and very warm.

Grandma made me a pair of boiled mittens.

Discord Mitten

Normally referred to as "mitten" is someone you've met on discord and engages in the act of playing video games with another person.

It derived from the associated term "discord kitten" which is highly regarded as obscene with the users of Discord. A different word was created to distinctively separate both meanings with clear indication to which group it belonged to.

"Where the mittens at?"
"Do you have a Discord Mitten?"
"Hey guys, meet my new mitten."
"Look at that dude. He clearly has no mittens"
