AP Calculus

The most ridiculous math class you'll ever take in high school in which the lowest grades you'll ever make you're happy to receive. Side effects include: lack of sleep, absence of a life, and/or loss of a soul.
"Dude, I have my AP Calculus final tomorrow; FML..."
"I got a 56!"
"Way to go!" (insert high five here)

AP Calculus AB

An advanced placement (AP) Calculus course taken in high school. This course features one semester of college level Calculus, while the next level available in highschool (Calculus BC) features 2 semesters of Calculus 1. Calculus AB is considered a simpler, less in-depth version of Calculus BC.
"Are you taking AP calculus BC next year?"
"No I decided to take AP calculus AB because I don't think I'm up to the challenge."

Caligulum

The event or action in a person's life that breaks down or modifies their moral and ethical compasses in regards to seeking pleasure.
Walking in on his mom and the family dog was the caligulum that really fucked him up.

Calculus II

The first of many classes that weeds out college freshman who don't have what it takes to study STEM majors such as engineering or computer science. A hard class that covers trig substitution, improper integrals, series, sequences, and polar coordinates and often requires 20+ hours of work a week.
Jimmy wanted to study Mechanical Engineering when he was in college. However, after failing Calculus II twice and getting a C- on his fourth attempt, he decided to switch into Business and never looked back.

Corona Calculus

When politicians enact unpopular, painful measures to reduce the number of Covid-19 infections and deaths, while tapping on the country’s financial reserves or borrowing money to procure as many vaccines, masks, ventilators, and PPEs for the population.
Had Donald J. Trump’s corona calculus been to minimize infection and death rather than scheme to reduce his business losses, and to maximize supplies of medical equipment and essential goods instead of benefiting himself and his cronies, he might still be serving a second term today.

first fundamental theorem of calculus

The first fundamental theorem of calculus states that (just trying to remember here), with F(x) being the antiderivative of f(x), while u stand for the upper bound and l stands for the lower bound, the definite integral of a function f(x) is equal to F(u) - F(l).
"Solve the integral from 2 to 3 of x^2" Well, this should be easy. Just use the first fundamental theorem of calculus.
The antiderivative of x^2 = (x^3)/3. (3^3)/3 = 9, and (2^3)/3 = 8/3. 9 - 8/3 = 19/3, which is equal to 6.3333333... Time to search this up on good ol' Wolfram Alpha. *Checks* Alright!
