Benny

A benny refers to a drink made by breaking a Benzedrine inhaler and removing the metallic strip inside which contains amphetamine. This is then dropped into a cup of very hot coffee or tea and after steeping for a few minutes is chilled and then drunk quickly. Produces the obvious effect of amphetamine but due to the high dose and the added caffeine the effects are truly more like a methamphetamine cocktail. Was very popular in the 70's but in the early to mid 80's cocaine and then crystal meth became the more popular drug in this general "genre/class" of drugs.

P1: Dude what the hell is wrong with you? I thought you said you quit doing meth. P2: I know man I did quit but. I drank 2 bennys this morning. P1: You cretin bastard. Why would even do such a old ass drug like that? P2: **Falls over in a seizure** P1: I'm not gonna help you. Dumb ass shouldn't have drank two of them.
