antecrastinate

Doing today what could better be put off until tomorrow. The opposite of procrastination.

While it would have been better to wait until garbage day tomorrow to throw out my trash, I decided to antecrastinate and instead put several heaping bags of foul trash onto the street today.

Aztecs

The Aztec people dominated central and southern Mexico from the 14th to the 16th century and are best known for having established an elaborate and wide-ranging empire destroyed by Spanish invaders led by Hernán Cortéz. The leader of the Aztecs during the Spanish conquest was the Great Montezuma II. Their name is derived from a mythical homeland to the north called Azatlán, but they also called themselves the Mexica. The Aztec language belongs to the Nahuatlan branch of the Uto-Aztecan family. Human and animal sacrifices were an integral part of Aztec religion. For warriors, the ultimate honor was to be slain in battle or to volunteer for sacrifice in a major ritual. The Aztecs are credited with the discovery of delicious chocolate, made from the fruit of the cacao tree.

autechre

A band from Manchester. Autechre creates elaborately structured and highly detailed electronic music, usually labeled IDM. The music is often abstract and non-referential, thus rendering much of it largely inaccessible and sometimes misunderstood. Early releases tend to be electro-influenced and somewhat melodic, later releases tend to be more intricately structured and difficult. They have had releases on Warp records since the early 90's.

They often draw obvious comparisons to aphex twin, squarepusher, plaid, and others (based on the loose IDM classification), although they are really quite different.

There is a neverending debate on the pronunciation of this word. See below for the generally accepted pronunciation.

'I really think Autechre is at the forefront of today's electronic music scene.'

Dad: 'What's that noise?'
Joey: 'It's the new Autechre record.'
Dad: 'Oh, I thought it was our air conditioner breaking down again.'

Pontiac Aztek

One of the most ugliest cars to ever roll out of GM. The overall design looks horrible, but don't let the ugliness fool you. It has a decent top speed, a powerful V6 engine and not to mention its very roomy too. If you bought yours new, there's a chance it came with a camping tent you can attach to the back lift gate. Some people claim this car to basically be a Pontiac Montana on crack. It has actually seen an increase in popularity due to Walter White driving one on Breaking Bad.

Guy 1: Hey what kind of car are you driving?

Guy 2: A Pontiac Aztek.

Guy 1: That thing looks ugly as Hell!

Guy 2: Oh yeah? Well sit in this thing and then tell me what you think!

Guy 1: Holy crap! This thing is so comfortable I take back what I said!
