A work appropriate but much more threatening version of "fuck around and find out"
Becky: I can't believe you. You better let me do whatever I want if you know what's good for you.

Me: test that assumption at your earliest convenience... I wouldn't recommend it though.

Assumptive

To constantly be assuming, to take for granted, to make an ass out of you and me
Everyone was assumptive over that odd lady, and they stole her car to see what she has.
They were assumptive over one’s office, so they broke in at night to see what the worker was doing, looking at his computer.

One student was assumptive the teacher was hiding test answers, so he broke in to see if he was right.

Assumption

A neo-nazi school that listens to Kanye because of his political beliefs. History class consists of writing essays about why World World II was wrong and how Hilter was underservingly killed. The second favorite topic of Assumption was slavery. On many occasions Assumption teachers have said openly how slaver was great and the reason the country prospered. And we should go back to the old days. Teachers have also been caught saying the N-word when they thought no one was listening. The third favorite topic of assumption teachers was being sexually intimate with young female students. Especially going into their bathroom unannounced when they felt horny. Lastly the 7th grade is the most faggot grade in all school history. Their activities consist of sending nudes to old men in other countries, jerking each other in the bathroom at will, and wrestling to see who gets the next fucking in the ass in between classes and in the nurses bathroom. Would not recommend unless u are a Hilter supporting, slavery enforcing, little faggot who has no where else to go.
Example 1 -
Faggot 7th grader- english teacher at Assumption, what topic will we be learned today
English teacher- Nword, please be quiet as ur not permitted to speak in my class. This is why u belong in the fields.

7th grader- English teCher, did u just say the nword?
English teacher- Nword, it’s ok it was in the book

Mrs. Berkley's Assumption

The portion of a document, typically a recipe or set of instructions, that includes leaps in logic that the reader cannot follow. The instructions can either be overly vague or misordered in such a way that it is not possible for someone to follow correctly the first time.
The original recipe
Two eggs, one cup of vinegar, one tablespoon full of flour. Beat all together and add two tablespoonfuls of vinegar, if not very strong, and one cup of cold water. Flavor with nutmeg. Reserve whites for top.
The original recipe is missing cooking time, cooking temperature and includes a final instruction that changes the first instruction.
Your recovery documentation was full of Mrs. Berkley's assumptions; it caused a worse outage than having one device down.

The Assumption day

The Latin Catholic Feast of the Assumption is celebrated on 15 August and the Eastern Orthodox and Eastern Catholics celebrate the Dormition of the Mother of God (or Dormition of Theotokos, the falling asleep of the Mother of God) on the same date, preceded by a 14-day fast period.
The Assumption day of Cyprus is on 15th August.

Are facts if *correct *

The logical error of assuming people act honestly, ethically, or transparently without evidence, ignoring that self-interest, incentives, and deception often influence behavior. Accepting statements or actions at face value without considering motives is the Assumption of Benevolence Fallacy.

Examples Illustrating the Assumption of Benevolence Fallacy:

1. Law Enforcement:
Police at a crime scene operate under the assumption of malice or self-interest, not automatic honesty. Ignoring human self-interest in these situations would be dangerous and illogical.

2. Sports / Entertainment:
In the Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight, assuming the bout wasn’t rigged just because they denied it ignores possible financial or strategic incentives, making this a clear Assumption of Benevolence Fallacy.

3. Everyday Life / Buying Items:
Buying a “cheap” iPad or concert tickets on Craigslist without checking could leave you with a fake or broken product. Verifying items before purchase follows the assumption of malice, showing why assuming honesty is a fallacy.
1. “Thinking a stranger handing you a USB drive is safe to plug in? That’s the Assumption of Benevolence Fallacy—people can have hidden motives.”

2. “Believing every politician is telling the truth during a campaign speech is a classic Assumption of Benevolence Fallacy.”

3. “Assuming your roommate would never eat your leftovers without asking? That’s textbook Assumption of Benevolence Fallacy.”
