Burning

Mixing MDMA (Ecstasy) with amphetamine. This is a dangerous mix that is warned against. "Burning" is yet to become a popular slang term.

Starting to "burn" at the end of "rolling" can make for a nice cushion.

Flag burning

Mostly done when a flag is too damaged or touches the ground. Can also be done when protesting. The supreme court has ruled that flag burning is protected by freedom of speech. Does not make sense why people think it is bad to do it when it is done so often after a flag is too damaged or touches the ground.

Burlington

A small town in Iowa.

Burlignton was once a bustling port in the steamboat era. It sits on the Mississippi River in south eastern Iowa, on the Illinois border. Burlington has a deep hisstory.

Population around 25,000 - 30,000.
One public high school, a somewaht run-down mall, a not so active downtown. A new complex with a hotel, virtual bowling, restaurants, a few nice bars, a waterpark, etcetera.

The high school has been having problems for years, fightinhg, drop-outs, teen pregnancy, you name it.

Quite a bit of weed and drinking.

Most people go out on the river in the summer.

Most of the population under 25 wants out of the town. A small community college is on the west side of town.

A few religious private schools are in the area.

It's an alright town for middle-ages people, I suppose.

Very blue-collar, few professional occupations unless you work in medicine.

There is a new hospital and a new casino.

It's got the standard franchise places.
A Supercenter Wal-Mart
A Kmart, Shopko, Super Target, Hy-Vee, Casey's, Walgreens, Aldi.

Has the regular Iowa-small town feel, lots of fields, friendly people, pick-up trucks..

Not half-bad if you didn't grow up here or if you didn't go to the high school.
Father: Hey kids, want to go to the waterpark in Burlington?
Kids: YEAH!!

Coal Burning Faith

(n) term used to describe the antiquated and outdated belief system of any faith that has failed to account for societal change and human evolution.
Hank: So where does "writing malware" fall under the Ten Commandments?
Jebidiah: Well, um, err...
Hank: Yeah, I don't think your coal burning faith has an understanding of how society works these days. Perhaps you can pray to McAfee or Norton to save you from virtual damnation...
