Frantic

The first track of heavy metal band Metallica's eighth studio album, "St. Anger". The song's lyrics deal with personal struggle and addiction, as well as the Buddhist principle of dukkha.

This song is particularly notable for its chorus, in which singer James Hetfield growls the word "Frantic", followed by repeating the syllable "tic" six times per line, finishing with the utterance of "tock", mimicking the sound of a ticking clock.

This chorus has been recognized by online communities for its repetitiveness, and has been the subject of several edited videos in which Hetfield repeats the "tic" syllable indefinitely, similar to "the best," a meme built off of "Best of You" by the Foo Fighters. This is unofficially known as the "Frantic Roll."

City by the pacific Ocean. We have 10 months of winter here and like two of summer.

Places of interest:
We have the Haight and Ashbury area, which really isn't what it used to be.
We have Chinatown, which is smelly and stuffy and crowded all the time. We have a great view, especially from Twin Peaks. We have the alcatraz (sp?) island, and the cable cars are pretty rad.

Like, 40% of this city is made up of Asian people.

San Francisco

One of those places where no one can both live and work there. Only people who can afford not to work can afford to live there. People who work there live some place like Santa Rosa or San Jose.

The natural result of San Francisco is that people who work in Santa Rosa or San Jose can't afford to live there, because people who live in Frisco took all the houses, and have to live some place like Ukiah or Modesto instead.

People used to both live and work in Modesto, but now they have to commute from Sonora or Madera. It's all Frisco's fault, and the sooner one of their faults dumps them in the ocean, the better.

The Francis Flute

A progressive rock band from Montgomery, New Jersey. Formed by guitarist/vocalist Josh DeVincenzo, guitarist Connor Broderick, bassist Andrew Hennesey and drummer Chad Fern. The band has performed in a few shows in New Jerset, made it to the semi-finals in the Bamboozle Break Contest, and are performing in Montgomery's Battle of the Bands on February 17.

The Francis Flute has recently released their debut EP, Above the Optimism on Itunes to very positive reviews.
