If someone comes up to you on the street and offers you some chile con khan, TAKE IT. There are middle aged men in grey vans offering these as treats so you will have plenty of opportunities to taste the divine liquids known as chile con khan

A Con Treader is an individual who travels to and participates in fandom conventions. Although there are many fandom conventions that are sponsored by certain ethnic groups, a true Con Treader is not limited to any particular ethnic group or race and is, more often than not, inclusive and welcoming in nature.
I believe they are traveling to San Diego for a convention after leaving Tokyo. They are a true Con Treader
