Bluebook

"A Uniform System of Citation" used during law school. Commonly referred to as "bitchbook" and is often the bane of law student's existence. Law Reviews often employ the Bluebook citation metho.
My professor requires that I learn Bluebook citation for my appellate brief although it is completely different from the citation method I will use after I graduate from law school.

An adjective used to describe that someone quit their job in a dramatic and legendary way.

Origin: In reference to Steven Slater, a disgruntled Jet Blue Flight Attendant, who quit his job by telling all the passengers on the plane to "go fuck themselves" over the PA system, deploying the emergency slide, then exiting the plane with a beer from the galley in-hand.

Jigaboo Blues

noun. Derived from two words: JIGABOO which is a silly, racist term for a black person, and BLUES which is a feeling of depression or repression expressed through song.

JIGABOO BLUES is a pejorative term for when African American folk complain about their situation or plight and blame their misfortune on white people, slavery, or racism, drugs, etc. This is similar to "playing the race card", in that they believe they are being targeted because they are black or simply claim that they are being "racially profiled" just to try and get out of something.
Cop: So I pulled over this black fellow for swerving across the center line, and when I asked him so undergo a sobriety test, he started singling the Jigaboo Blues, called me a cracker, and said I was racial profiling. However, my suspicions were confirmed when my flashlight revealed three empty 40 oz Natty Boh's.

The Blues

The greatest music genre, the power and skill of it came from centuries of slaves being put in pens, and some of the only things they were allowed to do were sing, or play instruments if they had any.

As a result it built up and became an amazing style.

It turned into Rock N' Roll in the 20th century and is played by musicians such as Eric Clapton.

Some of teens condemn The Blues saying its boring, but if it wasn't for the blues we wouldn't have any of the music we listen to.

bluepill

(verb): To tell someone a dishonest pleasantry instead of the actual truth. Refers to the blue pill in the movie "The Matrix".

Bluepilling someone can have one of two purposes: 1) an evil purpose, such as lulling them into complacency in order to exploit them more effectively, or 2) a good purpose, such as mercifully shielding them from a horrible truth that they actually are powerless to avoid or prevent, in which case a pleasant delusion is actually the more humane option.
I've had so much awful news that I can't stand anymore. So just bluepill me for awhile, okay?
