The Safehouse

The Safehouse is a community of roleplaying Rogues that was created shortly after the MMORPG Everquest was released.

Since then, the community has grown quite large, and has a dedicated member base who, along with the Everquest players, also includes many other gaming geeks.

A place you go after you get really high, because things are coming after you. In this place, the things that are after you can't get you anymore.

Example: A dark corner, your room or simply anyplace where you feel safe.

Safe text

Verifying that a text message goes to the right person, as to avoid the humiliation of giving out the wrong information to the wrong person.

Michelle: Did you get my text?

Liz: Um, no. What'd it say?

Michelle: Ugh! I must've sent it to Lisa, then. I was talking about how much I hate her and the fact that she's such a hypocritical ice queen.

Liz: God, Michelle, she's our friend! And I agree, but you definitely should've practiced safe text.

Sally Safety

A female driver with so many kids in the minivan, she can't remember whether or not she buckled all of them in. Thus, she would rather inflict her sub-speed limit driving on the rest of society than do her errands when the kids are in school. She generally waits until rush hour to pack her vehicle with rowdy, screaming kids then drives absentmindedly and distractedly through suburbia.

I ended up following Sally Safety from the bank, to the Mickey-Dees, and finally to the gas station where I wanted to suggest that sterlization might improve her driving skills....
