A play on the saying, “Netflix and Chill”, referring to sex. In this case referring to unprotect raw sex.
Also for those less sexually inclined… WWE RAW was released on Netflix on January 6, 2025 thus having the second meaning of watching WWE RAW on Netflix.
but hey, WHY NOT BOTH ;)
randy: “wanna come over and netflix and raw?”
stephanie: “ummmm, in which way…”
When the main event fighters in a LIVE event on Netflix are toned down and boring. The fighters each make so much money either way win or lose so they just simply do not care enough to go 100% for their fight. It’s underwhelming. Boring. Not what it could be.
Q: “Damnnn, why didn’t Paul just kill Tyson then?
A: “Netflix main event syndrome got him. It hits hard when you make millions win or lose. He just doesn’t care enough. He’s already cashing out so good from it.”
“Come on! Hit each other! Do something!”
“You really expected a good figut? Netflix main event syndrome takes away all the excitement!”
The phenomena where fighters in the main event for a LIVE event on Netflix don’t go 100% because they are making so much money either way that they simply do not care if they win or lose anymore. They’re toned down. It’s not as intense as it should be. They don’t want to get hurt. They just want their fatty paycheck from Netflix.
1: “Why didn’t Jake Paul just kill Mike Tyson then?”
2: “Netflix main event syndrome got to him. He didn’t care enough after all the money he was guaranteed to get either way from this fight.”
1: “Come on! Hit each other! What are you doing?”
2: “You expected a good fight? Netflix main event syndrome takes all that away! They just want their Netflix money.”
A euphemism for inviting someone over to your place to engage in scrolling on your phone with Netflix playing in the background. Thus the expression, "let's Netflix and Scroll!" should be understood by the invitee as "let's come over to my place and scroll!"
Shirley: what should we do this weekend?
Isaac: idk, we could always Netflix and Scroll
Shirley: I'm 100% down for some Netflix and Scrolling
When a streaming service has an accidental hit of a show, which is a hit because it’s male focused and not constantly
force feeding the audience “the message”, designed for “modern audiences” nonsense.
After the success of the first season, certain demographics take over and reengineer the show to be “more inline with their values”. Meaning twice as many female based storylines in the second season, and shoehorning gays and trans characters into the storyline in the third season. Which inturn causes the show to be cancelled due to lack of viewers.
Bro, I was so getting into watching “John Smith Conquers The World ”, but season 2, they totally Netflix’d it.
