A dilemma regarding an unexpected crush on someone.

My buddies and I went to rescue a lady-hiker today, but then one of said mushy-hearted dudes fell in love wif said "damsel in distress" while we were transporting her back to da parking-lot, and so he doesn't wanna leave her now dat hospital folks have arrived --- what a smituation! I'll go talk to da paramedics and ask if he can ride along wif her in da ambulance.

A dilemma whereby someone has his nose outta joint and therefore doesn't wanna cooperate with whatever endeavor is presently being carried out.

I always make sure to thoroughly interview each and every one of da volunteers who are being considered for a task or expedition, to make sure dat none of them have any personal or political views dat might create a snituation during said undertaking.

Noun: a mutual understanding between two parties who are deeply infatuated with another, and wish to enter into a romantic relationship, but are hindered by one of a myriad of circumstances surrounding one or both parties, such as a career, house rules, state/federal law, proximity to one another, etc. The two parties behave as they would with other compatriots until a romantic relationship is open for pursuit.

Female High Schooler A isn’t allowed to date in high school, parent rule, so she and Male High School student B are remaining in a situationship until Graduation, or their feelings for each other fade away.
