Comes from the Robert Frost poem, "Nothing gold can stay." Often can refer to staying true to yourself and your own character.

More literal meanings can be to stay where you are, in whatever figurative meaning (ie: relationship, city, state, country) you can conjure up.

Golden Vagina

A mindset unique to women, in which a woman is convinced that she is already creme de la creme and that any man should be lucky to have her. Therefore, she often enters any situation with the expectation of being treated like a princess, much to the chagrin of the men who suddenly discover this disability. It can also mean that a girl is convinced men are attracted to her, even when there is no evidence to suggest it.
