Politically correct

Trying to make everything politically correct so it doesnt offend anyone is how you end up with cars with names like Solstice and Equinox instead of Cougar, Rocket, or Charger.
As soon as Charger or Challenger start becoming abusive or mean names for cars that have to be made politically correct, Detroit is going to be in worse shape than it already is since the 70s. That is progress, even if that's what a politician calls it (Democrat or Republican).

Selfish Politics

When someone advocates a piece of legislation purely because it benefits their own personal situation. Those who take part in this often do so without looking at the big picture, that is, seeing how the legislation would affect everyone as apposed to just themselves.
Guy 1"Man I love Obamacare! I can't afford health care and now I get it for free? what a great deal I'm in!" (selfish politics)

Guy 2 "But the government would have to impose a tax for that service thus causing people who can afford health care like me to pay for people like yours who couldn't before! Not to mention that tax would not come up with enough revenue for the government to be able to spend on everyone's health care and the country would go broke! To avoid this the government would have to specifically choose who to give the limited health care to? So you probably won't get any. What then?"

Guy 1 " who cares? I still get free health care!"

Political Science

Best program at the University of Ottawa. Highly motivated and ambitious students study Poli Sci. Students in this program are thinkers and are very effective at reasoning; they don't just memorize definitons and write them word for word on an exam. Students in this program are the leaders of tomorrow. Political Science students are hardcore political junkies and value CPAC and CBC Newsworld. They also get really annoyed when the media says that young people aren't voting because ALL POLI SCI STUDENTS VOTE..WOOT WOOT! Many political science students at uottawa are part of the PSSA, the poli sci student association. If you're part of this group you're cool....if you're not, people will feel bad for you
Derrick: Hey are you in the PSSA?
Random: No I'm not.
Derrick: Aww, I'm sorry, that sucks.

Poli Sci student: What are you writing?
Business student: My mathematical calculations & formulas.
Poli Sci student: We don't DO math in Political Science....Well, I'm off to meet the Prime Minister for lunch......later.
Business student: I should switch programs.

Political Correctness

The dumb theory that colleges teaches you that states that all views (or points of views) are equally valid. Pretty much this means that all standpoints, opinions and such are all valid. Pretty much the views of a racist, a neo-Nazi and the such are all just as valid as someone else. But, it isn't hard to take down these people that expresses this theory by just saying:

"Is it true that there's no such thing as truth?"
Political correctness is a very dumb theory that many colleges teach you in order to dumb you down and lower your IQ.

Political Calculus

What Republicans call political cost/benefit analysis. If a politician avoids political calculus on a policy or prospective bill or movement,

it means that it is unpopular. If a politician embraces political calculus, it means that it is popular.
Marco Rubio said he avoided political calculus on immigration reform because he knew his party was against it but thought the country
was for it. Double think!

personal politics

specific ways one particular human deals with and responds to interaction with other humans. -some of us choose more bizarre ways of accomplishing this than others....
if you knew john, he was a sweet guy; but his personal politics remained on the bizarre side. this may have been a defense mechanism...

brutus dressed like a biker, and projected anything but the "warm fuzzies", but was a rhodes scholar; he had unusual personal politics!

political jujitsu

the political fighting style in which an opponent's energy and position is used against them with an emphasis on throwing out baseless claims in the press, immobilizing their funds and selectively applying the principles of balance (eliminating it), leverage (from back room deals), and momentum (from relentless lobbying) and as a last resort, putting important decisions on hold until the next session.
Judging by all of the legislation that congress has voted on in his favor, HSUS CEO Wayne Pacelle is a master of political jujitsu.
