A word used for a known quantative change derived from the word Delta which symbolised the fourth letter of the greek alphabet. This term or definition of this word is more commonly used in physics and engineering (and can be seen in the world of computer geeks), although somehow it's found it's way into the lame world of office lingo / office jargon.

Executives all around the world frequently misuse this term and it's misuse is growing, making them look very stupid.

Executive noob says "We have a delta in these figures here somewhere" secretery says "It's not a delta, it's a discrepancy" People then mock the executive noob behined his back while he thinks he's just impressed everyone by telling them that there is an identified change that has not actually been identified.

A way of saying that somebody played very well or "carried" (as gamers like to call it) in a video game. It can also be used to define the "best player" in a team, aka. the one who usually plays better in the team.

Delta Tau Delta is a greek letter organization commonly refered to as one of the following; "Dudes touching dudes," or "Deep throat daddies." Members of this fraternity are frequently seen performing acts of depravity and sexual deprivation on not only one another, but also animals (especially goats) and any girl that is unlucky enough to end up ruffied on their front lawn.

Guy 1: "Hey man did you hear that weird sound last night?"
Guy 2: "Ya dude, I think Delta Tau Delta's poor goat finally got raped to death last night."

Gnomes of the garden variety. Known to chase rainbows and sniff pansies while riding unicorns throughout all of Deltland. Sometimes live inside hollowed-out trees (occasionally treehouses) where they bake cookies. Usually the lamest fraternity (or sorority) chapter on whatever campus is ashamed enough to have them. As you would expect to come with their tiny stature, their penises are unusually small. Also referred to as midgets, elves, dwarfs, munchkins, little people, and "small penised freaks."

"Those are some nice garden gnomes you have in your lawn."
"Actually, that's a Delta Tau Delta chapter meeting."
"Makes sense. I don't know why a sculptor would sculpt such small penises."
