Face Begging is when you use social media, most often facebook, to beg people for money. A common way for people to let their friends know they are both poor and past shame.

When an individual pretends not to be arrogant and pretentious by disagreeing with compliments they are given but following it up with a form of brag. Pulling this off ensures the person gets an ego boost while not appearing to be cocky.

James pulled a classic passive bragging by pretending his short code wasn't a big deal, but followed it up by stating that it's better than most others around.
