Boyle

A shit town in northwest Ireland, in the county of Roscommon. Literally in a depression. Not to be confused with boil. Nobody else in the county really goes there or cares about it if they have even heard of it. Most shops have closed down in the town and it has a distinct piss like stench. The more west you go in the town, the more poor and worse it gets. Nice clock tower in the centre of the town though, no longer works.

Boyle? Never heard of it.

When something terrible surprises you when it turns out to be mediocre, thereby juxtaposing the aforementioned terrible something making it appear brilliant.

Susan Boyle is a fugly man-woman. Her singing voice, however, is very average. Because she is so damn ugly, this surprised everyone into thinking her singing voice was angelic. It isn't.

Steve: The Wizard of Oz was a great film...

James: No it isn't. It just appears that way because it was made in a period when all other films were in black and white.
