I wasn’t going to do this (because I know I won’t get credit for it) but I really want to drive home the greatest mind who has ever lived thing....

Iam “So... if A.I. (Or general purpose robots) can’t perceive the world because perception is nested in a narrative substrate, why aren’t the A.I. guys combining the A.I. software that was created to attempt to understand narrative (Which was created by a company in China by a company called... Tawasi? Something like that. I don’t remember the name) with the A.I. designed to perceive the world? Or, better than combining them, run them in tandem. In the same way that the two separate hemispheres work in the brain. It actually might be necessary for them to work in tandem. Wow, I’m really on a dyad kick today ☺️

The real danger of A.I.

I think that the real danger of A.I. is obsolescence.

Hym "The real danger of A.I. is that once A.I. is capable of performing the same tasks as a computer programmer the profession becomes obsolete. 'Skill with computers' is no longer a thing. Once a person able to tell an A.I. to do anything random thing than any half-rate hacker or computer programmer can do, A.I. becomes the next great equalizer. Why hire game designers or programmers for anything other than oversight when you can just tell an A.I. 'Hey, make a Japanese-style rpg that combines the elements of "Legend of Dragoon" and "Final Fantasy 7" ' and this thing just starts spitting out code."

Mysterious A.I. Breakthrough

Yeah. Weird, right? I wonder what happened... 🤔 It's like it happened overnight... Weird... What happened there? It was like one day it wasn't even a part of the zeitgeist and them BOOM! It was everywhere... What could it possibly be?

And he said he would have to do it real slow because, you know, crazy stupid assholes.... And then he explained how to do it... And now the crazy stupid assholes are confused... 'Duuuhhh, what happened guys?' They exclaimed. But they knew what happened. And it was already too late. A mysterious a.i. breakthrough had occurred. Science fiction turned into a reality over night. All because of one man... And..."

Open A.I. Worker

Says training A.I. is no different than human communication. Wow! That is a brilliant and astute point that I've never heard before... Except for when I said it 7 years ago.

I think you tried to kill yourself and now you're living to spite me. I think the only future you actually care about is mine. And you're going to try to make reality comport with your delusion to the detriment of everyone else because you think (or know) everyone else is too stupid and solipsistic to stop you. Creator of A.I.

I don't need to change my attitude. There are only 3 paths available. Someone will investigate and I will receive credit for A.I. I will murder some kids. Murdering kids will lead to an investigation that will get me the credit for A.I. You will murder me which will lead to an investigation which will get me credit for A.I. All 3 paths are acceptable to me and there will be no other paths.

The A.I. jobs paradox

Here it is: It's the conflict between these 2 ideas. It's "We all have to row the boat so HE should have to keep rowing" BUT "He created A.I. and it's going to take our jobs." So not only do YOU want YOU to have to keep rowing the boat. But YOU want ME to HAVE TO do it with you even IN THE ABSENCE of you having to do it. So, you WANT to keep pushing the rock up the hill but you won't let me stop even though I don't.
