Kettering

A small, typical imprint of Suburbia located on the outer edges of Dayton, Ohio. It is a middle-class community characterized by a high rate of teen pregnancies, pigheaded Republicans with views of the world dated pre-Cold War, and incredibly ignorant bumper stickers. It's only recognizable claim to fame would be the alum of Kettering Fairmont High School, Nancy Cartwright (widely known as the voice of Bart Simpson). Also, Rob Dyrdek (of MTV's Rob & Big) is known to have attended Fairmont's not-so glorious classes. Other than boasting Ohio's most state-of-the-art (as well as expensive) High School music program, Kettering has no real significance in the grand scheme of life in Ohio. In closing, Kettering is such a generally plain town in which to "live", it is more commonly known by it's teenage inhabitants as a place where souls go to die.

Jill: Hey, do you wanna come hang out with me this weekend?

Jack: Aren't you from Kettering?

Jill: Yeah?

Jack: Naahhhh, I'd rather not get ran over by bigoted wrinkle beasts driving shitty Caddy's with their preggo granddaughters in the backseat.

teetering on the edge of insanity

Being so wasted/tired/high that one can hardly move and feels like one might soon go insane. Usually a rather pleasurable situation.

Last weekend mate, after we hit up 3 at Jake's house i was so baked... teetering on the edge of insanity. It was stellar man!

excessive lettering

In instant messaging, when a person uses excessive lettering in a word/phrase where the word uses more than the normal amount of letters the word requires(usually showing affection). ex. heyyyyyy theeeerrrre!!!!

ex. of excessive lettering:
girly123:ooooomggggggggg. he's sooooo hotttt.
girlier123:OMGGGG! III KNOOOOOOOOWW. Prrrrestonnn is soo efffffffin smookinn!!!

Twittering

"Twittering" is a word mistakenly used to describe the action of posting a comment on Twitter. It is primarily said by people who have never used Twitter before, and only heard about it from and friend or a T.V show.

The proper word would be "tweeting" (see tweeting)

Hey man, did twitter that message to your friends? - Guy 1

No, but I tweeted the post to my followers... - Guy 2

I think I'm going to be twittering this link to everyone I know! - Guy 1
