Shiftling

A Shiftling is known as a tall creature (12 feet tall or above) who has no eyes, has sharp claws and fangs, a long tail, and a very black body. These creatures also stand on all fours. They are also known as a Shadowpredator since they use shadows to hide so they can catch prey (they use vibrations in the ground to find prey)

The Shiftling stood motionless, waiting for a creature to eventually come near.

An play on the term “red-shirting” because blue shirting is often done in college.
