Sunday

1. The bittersweet day of the week, when people feel happy and sad at the same time.
2. The day that starts off peaceful and ends in anxiety.
3. The day known for the infamous "Sunday Scaries", thanks to the terrible day after.
4. The most underrated day of the week, often overshadowed by the upcoming Monday.

1. Sundays are part of the weekend, but it is hard to enjoy them, especially the evening, as Monday is coming.
2. Sunday mornings begin very peaceful, with good meals and relaxing activities, but as 3 o'clock strikes, things start going downhill, and at 6 o'clock, the anxiety hits fully.
3. I suffer greatly from the Sunday Scaries, as all I see is the creeping shadow of Monday looming over the peaceful Sunday. - "Oh no, Monday is coming" (Garfield)
4. Despite Monday coming up, Sunday should be a nice peaceful day of rest, allowing people to prepare for the upcoming Monday, rather than counting down to it.

Sunday Scaries

The feeling you have after a long week of work followed by a Saturday full of binge drinking, when Sunday hits you question your entire existence. Typically characterized by laying in bed all day and both regretting past decisions and questioning your seemingly non-existent future. Thoughts like "I"m going to die alone" and "Will I ever get a job that I actually enjoy?" consume you for the entire day while you're battling a hangover.
