in the mcu: it was unknown the true origin of the necrosword but itwas said that it was a legacy weapon held by many users and eventually end up on gorr's hand in "thor: love and thunder" but eventualy destroyed by jane foster by using thor's old mjolnir. it has the ability to kill gods and sumon shadow monster in many shape and size
