We all wanted the last bit of water, but since Hector whined all afternoon about being parched, Dad gave it to him. I guess the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Hotty gets the Shotty

A phrase used, either ironically or seriously, to reserve the front passenger (a.k.a. shotgun) seat of a vehicle for yourself, under the pretense that you deserve to ride shotgun because of your good looks. Girls are more likely to say this than guys, but either sex can use it.

Sean: "Shotgun!"

Erin: "Nope, hotty gets the shotty!"

Sean: "WTF? Whatever, but I pick what we listen to."

Brigette: "ROFL you guys, just get in the car!"

Space Geese

Space Geese: A series of loud, foul smelling squeaky farts which resembles the cacaphony of a gaggle of interstellar honkers. Can be used as an excuse during the awkward silence after said fowls take flight from the anus.

Example 1: "Verily! Surrender yon booty or I shall be forced to free my legions of molten space geese upon ye!"

Example 2: "Jesus, what is that smell?"
"I think a flock of space geese flew by!"

Grace for Every Gethsemane

When you refuse to give up even when others have disappointed or deserted you, as new restorations or resurrections are on your way—before Jesus went to the cross to die for our sins, He was so troubled in the Garden of Gethsemane that He asked his disciples to stay there and pray for Him, but He couldn’t rely on them for their support because they fell asleep.

Are disappointments, betrayals, or sicknesses taking their toll on your life? Look no further, because there is grace for every Gethsemane if you would only turn to the Son of God for your deliverance and healing. Let Him turn the frustrations and obstructions into resurrections and promotions.
