Cockwomble
A egregious person with inflated ego and total incompetence. Has a lot to say and actually believes the crap that they spout. A Cockwomble will usually take credit for other people’s achievements and will deny any failures on their part, usually trying to blame contemporaries, opponents or predecessors .
Their lack of intelligence and knowledge on a subject can usually be spotted by a tendency to ‘fill in’ a statement on a subject by repeating a phrase over and over in a slightly different way. And usually with boastful tones. Verbally, they will often tie themselves up in knots and trip themselves up totally contradicting themselves. For example. “ I made that table, it’s the best, no one’s ever made a table like that before I was the first to do it too. It sure is a great table. The table that the other guy made before me was not good at all, it was trash, a really bad table. But that doesn’t matter now because now we’ve got a the best table. No one else has a table like ours”.
They will variably surround themselves with like minded Cockwombles.
