A scoop shot from midrange. Basically a really long, two-handed finger roll. Which is probably not the best thing to attempt in traffic.

George Gervin liked to finger roll one-handed from midrange, but the midrange scoop was a staple of Earl Monroe's game.

originally when your driving a forklift and you dont stop when your pickin up a pallet you just run into it and lift without slowing down. also when ur pickin up a buddy in a hurry and make him/her get in the car without stopping completely
