A network of computers that consists of a link known as "sneakernet" whereupon a courier sneaks a Floppy disc from one computer to another in order to transfer data.

The files were transferred to the print server via sneakernet, we used 4 whole floppies for it

In Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games(i.e. Everquest, World of Warcraft), the act of trying to glom on to a more experienced and/or skilled guild or group of players in order to obtain a rare or difficult to get in-game item -- thus furthering the advancement of one's owm character.
