3. someone who claims to be hardcore, a gangster, or a street dweller, but really isn't.

4. a rapper who capitalizes off of the gangster or hardcore image, but no longer lives like that in real life.

Clarence acts like a thug when he's with us, but when the real thugs come around he's all scared to stand up for himself.

Timmy lives in an affluent suburb, drives a Hummer that his parents paid for, and will go to college without any financial worries at all. Why is he bumping 50 cent, talking all hard, and trying to start fights? Simple, because he is a fake thug.

A person who talks about you behind your back, and tries to be your friend upfront. A person who is incredibly fake,especially when it comes to being a friend and being there for you.

fake hipster 

A person who treats hipsterdom as an image instead of a mindset. Also will usually be honest enough to admit to being a hipster, which completely goes against what true hipsters stand for (which is being "non-conformist" to a social stereotype). Other than that, they are often hard to tell between real hipsters. They typically dress like hipsters will, such as skinny jeans, lots of facial hair, and fedora hats, and listen to the same kind of music as real hipsters do. However, fake hipsters often don't have the same level of pretention as a real hipster does, and are less likely to put down others that are not like them.

Scene: Arcade Fire Wins Album of the Year at the Grammys

Fake Hipster: "Yay! I'm so happy for Arcade Fire! I hope others can see how supremely talented they are. I need to tell my friends."

An Actual Hipster: "Oh wow. Arcade Fire just sold-out, haven't they? Now everybody in college is going to like their music..."

Fake fan 

Someone who likes a band/artist/actor who becomes totally aggressive whenever anyone else says that they like them. They are considered fake fans because they try as had as they can to put down anyone else who likes the same thing as them. They can be identified pretty easily, as when you mention liking something, they will immediately test you and label you as a fake fan if you get one fact about them wrong.

fake hoe 

A common waist of time for men looking for an actual hoe. Girl 14-24 who is very flirty and playful and pretends to be interested in you (and everyone else). They are often attractive girls who are looking for extra attention. Fake hoes are much more irritating than an actual hoe because they rarely follow through after leading you on. They have a good excuse for their behavior of "just being friendly." They blend in at a collage party and church. The better they are at blending into these places the more fakeness of the hoe. a full blown fake hoe is someone involved in the church going on missions trips and such activities and is than seen planning a party, flirting hard, and or having sex within a week of the church activity.
