steamed mask

Steamed Mask refers to a sterile face mask that has been used to prevent a virus outbreak that has then been steamed in a steamer and re-worn.
Suggested by the all-knowing Ann Chiang, there is no need to buy a new mask for the 2019 nCoV outbreak, you can steam it and it's totally disinfected.

When Ann Chiang mentioned she wore a steamed mask, medical sector lawmaker Pierre Chan said this is simply a "horrible" idea and he appealed to people not to take up the suggestion.

strategically waiting

When you want to end things with someone, (specifically a difficult situation/person) to avoid as much drama as possible, you decide to wait until it’s tactically possible for the safety of you and others. Essentially there is unfinished business that you’re afraid will bite you in the ass if you don’t handle it before ending it.

I’m not avoiding the breakup, I’m strategically waiting.

A-strategy

When playing multiplayer Super Mario Bros. (for Wii) A-strategy is the act of pressing the A button when on the verge of dying, this so the other player can pop you out of the bubble when he/she is safe.

Not to be confused with A-panic which is the spontaneous act of prematurely pressing the A button when you obviously don't need to.

"Hmm, I'm falling to my death, let me perform the A-strategy so I can safely float in my bubble towards the other player who's actually making this horrible jump!"

Work related activities that are done in a rush with seemingly no larger planning or thinking.
