While typically intended as term to mean "happy" and more modernly to mean homosexual, the new wave of the future is to erase all connotation of sexual orientation from the word and reserve it to meaning something idiotic, annoying, douche-baggy, etc.

Words develop over time as has this word and our generation has reached a point, where unintentionally, most of the general public are perceived as homophobic due to the new meaning of the word
