Alien Pi

When a mean neighbor had come in the middle of the night, while you were away, to mow your lawn flattened in the shape of the number π, which your consoling community claimed to be a “crop circle” signifying an advanced civilization, most likely caused by some extraterrestrial visitors.

Mr. Paulos made a police report about his lawn probably being vandalized by some inconsiderate alien pi forces.

Wokie Pi

When the number π is aware of injustice and discrimination against other fellow mathematical constants that have not got the same opportunity or media coverage as her, but she is indifferent to all that because speaking up and out about these issues or biases is not to her benefit.

Wokie pi doesn’t want to rock the mathematical boat that has ferried her to so many areas of interest patronized by mathematicians and math educators.

A Pi-Free Math Book

The mathematical equivalent of a meeting-free day or passport-less travel. When the sight of the symbol π is enough to trigger panic or paranoia among billions of folks worldwide, who think they weren’t born or blessed with the “math gene.”

Just as a math book without equations or formulas could raise the sales figures by a few folds, a pi-free math book could give thousands of math-anxious folks more confidence in picking up a pop math book without feeling unduly stressed.

Promiscuous Pi

When the number π flirted around and even got intimate with some fellow numerical constants or buddies, which makes her feel or look like a loose or unfaithful number in their eyes, yet she was not forsaken nor rejected by her Creator.

Like the prophet Hosea’s adulterous wife who was shown love again as he bought her back as a prostitute, promiscuous pi too found freedom from her toxic relationships as she regained her dignity and self-worth, and found forgiveness and love.
