Vanilla Sky Moment

The concept of vanilla sky is basically:
Sign up to LE (Life Extension) and when you die, your body will be taken and frozen, you will be connected to a machine and live on in a dream. Your death will be erased from your memory. You make your own dream, useing images, films and songs which moved you.
The 'Vanilla Sky Moment'
When we learn something, discover somthing, or are reminded of something we had forgotten, it appears in our everyday life without interference of ourselves or anyone else. This can be seen as our mind or our 'dream world' using this in our life.

Woah man i had the worst vanilla sky moment just then. Earlier i was watching MTV Base, which i hardly ever watch, and 'Obie Trice' 'Got Some Teeth' came on, i hadnt heard that song in ages....i forgot it existed. And then i turned on my ipod, and the first song was obie trice got some teeth!

big lipped aligator moment

named after the random musical number sung by a big lipped aligator at the end of the movie. a scene that comes right out the fuck of nowhere and has no bearing on the plot,

1. the comodo dragon in fernguly
2. the crocodile from all dogs go to heaven (after which the big lipped aligator moment is named)
3. the pink elephants from dumbo
4. the fucked up tunnel from willy wonka

kennedy moment

An event that is so shocking, that everyone can remember where they were when they found out about it. From a comment about the Kennedy assassination.

I only just got back from school when 9/11 happened. That was my kennedy moment.

When a group of friends sit/lean on a wall or bridge like the skins cast and sit and chat/smoke/drink

We all sat on the walls and had a skins moment. Those were the days.

Twinkle Moment

A twinkle moment occurs when you make eye contact with someone. During the eye contact there's a little twinkle because you both know you're thinking about the same thing but you don't say anything about it.

Twinkle moments can occur between two people in many different settings. It could happen during a dinner party between you and someone across the table, between you and a coworker when listening to a boss's presentation at work, or so many other situations.

Gabby: I passed Alex, that guy I hooked up with on Friday, when I was walking to class.
Ella: Did you say hi??
Gabby: No...He was walking with a girl. But we had a twinkle moment.

yaki moment

yaki moment' is a blanket term for all situations that merit a reaction worthy of yaki behavior. mostly defined by unexplainable shock that cannot be replicated by mere mortals. In these such situations one must exclaim 'yaki moment!'

note that a yaki moment isn't exclusive to yaki individuals, anyone can have a yaki moments. such as these situations:

Man 1: "I forgot to inhale air and passed out!
Man 2: "yaki moment!"
