order off the kids' menu

v. 1. to date a younger, stupider, less mature, less attractive, and/or in any way inferior person, just because they provide cheap, easy, yet only mildly satisfying carnal, intellectual and/or social engagement. 2. To have friendship with a younger, stupider, less mature, less attractive, and/or in any way inferior person because they are willing to submit to you. 3. To do anything not becoming of a person your age in some vanity fueled attempt to regain the days of yore a la John Updike's Rabbit or that thirty year old coke head at the bar.
essentially, to order off the kids' menu means you are the one at the dinner table eating chicken fingers and pbj while everyone else is diggin' into some white asparagus foie gras dumplings with bourbon gastrique. The bar is low and you're applauding yourself for your meagre every day hurdles. You are (were) a communications or journalism major. Your reading threshold is humor (The Onion!) and graphic novels, and the people your age discuss Foucault with such aplomb it makes you cry at night into your girlfriend's soft, shiny, pubescent, strawberry smelling hair. You dropped out of college years ago, listen to emotive yet angry -core suffixed tunes, and ride bikes with a bunch of college students aping The Outsiders. You mosh and you are over 18. You watch cartoons when you aren't high. You put up with slobs as long as they adore you. You are still having one night stands every weekend you get drunk. Everytime you go to a bar you black out and you've been drinking legally for at least 3 years. You work at Borders.

Indie Kids

The Teens who aren't mainstream, listen to Indie and Alternative music, no defining clothing or style, can be anyone and look like anything. Ranging from hippies to social outcasts. Most people have a very narrow-minded veiw on Indie Kids because they don't necesserily like their music so they tend to make generalised and insulting comments about their clothing and what they do.
"Dude, is that guy listening to Faker?" "Yeah, he must be one of those Indie Kids"

Emo Kids

A kid who is usually emotional. They don't want to make their feelings public and end up expressing it mainly through poetry or songs. They listen to what they want to a don't care what others say about their tastes or likes. They are true to themselves and don't change like most scene kids. They don't shop at hot topic 24/7 and usually buy clothes that are more so comfortable than stylish. Dark colors are popular but it's not always black. They do not catagorize themselves as emo, others around them do this. When they cut, they usually intend on finishing it off or making it nice and deep. Scene kids usually scratch or draw fakes scars on themselves. Emo kids are not concearned with the likes or dislikes of others that are minescule to them. Emo kids also tend to stick with others that understand them better such as other emos and they care for their pack. Emos may seem like rebels or punks, but they rebel only if they believe in something. You will see them laughing and enjoying themselves because all people do. They think many things are very beautiful and they are saddened by the fact that so many people fail to see this and destroy it, what ever it may be. They don't look for acceptance, they except themselves.
NOT EMO KIDS-
Scene kids show off "cuts" on wrists or arms, ect. They want everyone to know about problems. They wear the newest clotes that they can find at to topic and wear it to look cool. They rebel against anything because they think its cool. They want to fit in with anything and they hate everything in life because they are little faggs that can't appreciate any beauty what so ever. They change to fit most peoples approval and are just fake and shady in general.

Abercrombie Kids

The younger version of Abercrombie & Fitch. Has cool clothes for the smaller teen. Great place to get vintage, worn-in clothing. Prices may be slightly high for jeans, but its well worth it as long as it doesn't look like you could've ripped then yourself. Classic, care-free and comfortable. I hate it when people say they hate Abercrombie people. Its alright if they hate the store and the clothes and the prices, but saying that you hate everyone who wears Abercrombie is wrong. Its being 'overly-individual' and is now very cliche to say "people who wear A&F want to follow the crowd." Some of them do, like 7 yr olds wearing the brand because their sisters wear it, but you can't judge the rest. Very mixed feelings about this.
Jane: These Abercrombie clothes are so comfortable! I just hate those overpriced ripped jeans!
Amy: It's so annoying to see 7 year olds wear everything in that store! Look, it does'nt even fit her!
Alice: Gosh, you're such posers! I'm a punk and I'm so individual! You should be too! Get your clothes at Hot Topic! Thats where all the punks go!

toss a couple kids at her

To ejaculate on a girl (not in an orifice).
Brenda definitely wasn't model material, but I'd had a few beers and I figured it wouldn't hurt to take her in the back room of the bar and toss a couple kids at her face.
