1. Point at which alcohol intoxication adds and not hinders one's ability to chat, pull, and perform sexually.

2. Intoxication from alcohol leading to greater confidence in approaching the opposite sex, but not causing the other sex to think you are a complete drunk.

Guy 1: "Man, you were on fire last night with the ladies. They loved everything you said. Did you take those twins home?"

Guy 2: "Yeah, I was optimum drunk."

This is slang in some regions of the UK for the scientifical term eye guts. Often mistaken, optic nerve, by some for the real term, alas, it is not.
Used in Northern England and some parts of Scotland on the borderline.

...I don't know! I put this up here in hopes of someone filling me in. When Obama says "public option," does he mean private health insurance, like the kind I have now? Or is it another arm of the proposed nationalized health insurance?

'Fewer than 5% on public option?' That sounds ridiculous. Many people will keep their insurance they have now. If the public option is what I wrote above, then that number can't be right!"
