Glooby

“Glooby” is the adjective form of the noun “gloob”, which can be a liquid similar to cheap glue.

Glooby is a bastardised portmanteau of 'goopy' and 'gloomy', while also an antonym to 'groovy'. This means that Glooby is a state of being that many would consider “not cool” such as, bouts of seasonal depression, anxiety, dropping of a public facade, like a TV host who is happy on camera, but is always in a shitty mood in almost every other situation.
He’s groovy, and NEVER Glooby, Say it with him folks!

Gloomsday is said to have been marked on Salisbury plain by the ancients, who used megalithic alignments to predict the birth of Joyce thousands of years into the future. Remarkably, they were only half an hour out when he finally arrived into the world on 2 February 1882.
