the angel complex is when someone is attracted to someone and builds up an idealistic version of them in their head. they start dating them and hold them to these high standards that the person was never meant to live up to. it causes disappointment in the person who holds the angel complex because they are frustrated that their s/o is not who they thought they were. yet, they may not realize it because they still believe them to be the ideal person they have in their mind.

A Castle complex is when you get mad at injustice, and wish to kill everyone who commits certain crimes. Despite the fact you know you never could, you feel enraged enough to feel you would be able to, and want to.

Person one: "Did you see that documentary about human trafficking?"
Person two: "No, I can't watch anything like that, it would flare up my Castle complex."
