SNK boss syndrome 

A term used to characterize most bosses of the King of Fighters series (and other SNK fighting games).

It is characterized by
1. The characters having unusually high damage and priority in their moves.

2. Annoying, repetitive A.I. which reads the input of the opponent's moves in advance.

3. Can only be beaten with the use of stupid patterns (most of the time).

Damn man, Rugal has a really bad case of SNK boss syndrome.

Stockholm syndrome is when you are kidnapped and are able to befriend/fall in love with your kidnapper.

Leave it to Beaver Syndrome 

When the previously cute child cast members of a television sitcom begin to go through puberty, thus robbing them of many of the traits that made them appealing in the first place.

The definitive example is when Jerry Mathers on the 1950s sitcom "Leave it to Beaver" went from adorable child to awkward, gangly teenager over the course of several seasons.

On the current (fifth) season of "Modern Family" the actor who plays Luke is going through puberty. His voice is changing and he's gotten to be really odd looking. Meanwhile, the breasts of the actress playing his middle sister have grown at an alarming rate. It's gotten difficult to buy her as a high school student. They used to both be such cute kids. The show is clearly suffering from "Leave it to Beaver Syndrome."

Breakfast Club Syndrome 

When a group of random people meet each other and in a short time become close and know almost everything about each other, and then after they disband, they rarely talk to each other ever again because they are so different.

When a group of kids from all over the country go to summer camp and then they never go to the same camp again. If they never talk talk again, they are suffering from Breakfast Club syndrome.

first syndrome 

When a person (usually girls) stay with the first person they ever fell in love with, despite the other person treating them like crap. The more first times they had with the person, the worse the condition is likely to be. eg. If he was her first kiss, first time & first boyfriend etc...

Mika: Why is Sarah still with Jake? He cheats on her all the time, and she knows it.
