Obviously the way cool people give notation via the title version (the words usually in parenthesis after the main title of a work - usually the title of a song) that the work is a "remixed" version of the original or other version of said work.
For example, if you remixed the song "Tell It Like It Is" by Aaron Neville you would title the song like so:
"Tell It Like It Is (R3MIX3D by name/stage name here)" or
"Tell It Like It Is (name/stage name here R3MIX)" or
...if you're remixing your own original work title it however the f**k you want; that's your beautiful f**king amazing m****r f**king work of f**king art, bitch - don't let anyone f**king tell you how the f**k to title your s**t, do you f**king hear me, mother f**ker?
