When 2 individuals of Turkish origin, decent and or affiliation settle their beef using their leather belts until one caves in, passes out, and or until death ensues. An ancient form of settling quarrels which has travelled through time and evolved into modern day society.

So in the context all of these rappers using the phrase body on my belt is meaning they have achieved killing someone. Thus getting a body on your belt.
