Freeport

Town in northwest Illinois. Totally craptastic. Home to a whole bunch of broke african americans. Home to a bunch of dilapitated Victorian mansions. Home to a whole slew of boarded up houses and garbage littering everywhere. Home to a Days Inn hotel that, while actively in use, looks like an apocalyptic ruin or other vacant abandonement. Freeport is a dump.

The bus goes through freeport on the way to Chi-Town. Don't get off in Freeport. It's not worth the pain.

freeloader

Someone who sleeps on your couch for 3 months then never pays rent and refuses back rent. Eats your and your room mates food. They take advantage of the kindness of others and turns things against everyone. Often heard with 'then some shit went down and they kicked me out' while trying to feign some kind of bullshit innocence.

Derrick is a freeloader, ladies beware. He slept on my couch for nearly 3 months and split today, off to leech another home, another day.

An expression to change the food French fries away from the obviously negative conotation. This tactic was used during WWI with German involving "liberty meseals" and "liberty cabbage." The US goverment has not learned anything since.
