A person believing that the state is the sole representative of the national interest,therefore it deserves absolute dedication and should be handed full supremacy in all aspects of public and private life. The word "fascist" comes from "fasces",sign of authority in the Roman Republic.A fascist unconditionally trusts and obeys the state,handing it full authority over oneself.. A fascist disdains pacifism,and believes that war is a noble cause. Fascism in both theory and practice consists of: cult of leadership,nationalism,merger between state and corporations,protectionism,industralization and militarism. Founder of fascism,as well as the first fascist state,was Benito Mussolini,raised by atheist socialists,who himself was a left-wing radical in his youth. After being rejected by fellow commies,He created his own collectivist-statist ideology and succesfully implemented it.
In the early 50s,marxist intellectual Theodore Adorno designed the "F-scale" that is supposed to" measure an antidemocratic personality structure, usually defined by authoritarianism",in other words-fascism. Hoewever the scale was mostly used as a weapon against police in the 60s,and it's supposed to show how ANY implementation of state authority,even in it's most basic form is evil,brutal and authoritarian. Since then,the term has lost all of it's meaning,and is simply another political propaganda tool.
