1) Derogatory term given to character designs mostly found in JRPGs, especially anything involving Tetsuya Nomura. (Final Fantasy, Kindom Hearts, etc)

Named for Nomura's excssive use of belts and zippers in his character designs, and the trend they started in other games which has spread like a cancer.

2)Tetsuya Nomura himself.

<Person 1> WTF? Why has Donald Duck got a hat made of zippers!? Does that guy really need that many belts?

<Person 2> Kingdom Hearts is really belts and zippers: the game.

Woah! That chick has a skirt made of belts! Belts and Zippers has really gone overboard on this one!
