Wolfensickness

The feeling of vertigo and nausea that some people get while playing, or watching others play, 3D FPS games, such as Wolfenstein 3D, for which it is named.

It is more generally known as simulation sickness, a form of motion sickness. The prevailing theory for the cause is that the illusion of motion created by the virtual world, combined with the absence of motion detected by the inner ear, causes the brain to infer that one is hallucinating from toxins. The brain responds by inducing nausea and vomiting, to clear the supposed toxin.

Ingesting ginger root products (herbal capsules, lozenges, tea) may offer some relief from the nausea.

Sorry, I can't watch you play anymore, it's giving me really bad Wolfensickness.

WOLF SPIDERS are named as such because they have to eat really fast, in other words, "WOLF" down their food, their prey, because they do NOT use webs to catch their prey. They are GROUND spiders, they hunt their prey on the ground. (They're fast runners.) Therefore, they have to devour, or WOLF DOWN, their "catch" very fast so other ground spiders don't come and try to snatch the "catch," something WEB-making spiders don't have to worry about.

"Honey! Come see this wolf spider wolf down this cockroach!"
"Oh dear, that's disgusting!"
"Yeah hon, it reminds me of how your grandpa eats a chicken leg! Disgusting!"

say theres this girl/guy youve been crushing on. you like em, but are hesitant to approach them to ask them out on a rollerskating date, or out for some mini golf and a john cusack movie.

then your bff looks at you dead in the eye and says "wolfbiker, bitch."

at that moment, you reply "youre right. wolfbiker."

then you take a deep breath and walk over to your crush and initiate conversation, winning their heart and living happily ever after.
