phantom cellphone syndrome

Occasionally feeling as if you can hear your cellphone ringtone or feel it vibrating in your pocket when you don't have it on you or it's not within earshot or no one has called or texted you.

I felt my cell vibrating in my pocket, but when I reached in there to grab it, it wasn't even on my. Just phantom cellphone syndrome, I guess.

A mom to another one: How did we survive when we were in high school and some creepy guy was on his way over while you were by your locker and couldn't run anywhere, and no one else at all was around?? The kids today are cellshielding constantly, not even conscious of it at all.

cellphonia

A dangerous, yet increasingly common condition in which a person constantly hears (or feels) their cellphone going off. But, alas, it is just their deluded imagination at work.

Researchers have concluded that the most reliable cure for cellphonia is to completely cut-off all contact with cellular devices. At present time, rehabilitation centers are being constructed to help patients move quickly and effectively through their treatment.
