alice in wonderland

1. A book by Lewis Carol about a girl who chases a personified rabbit into its hole and finds herself in a whimsical fantasy land(this is where the term down the rabbit hole comes from). The book and its sequel, Through the Looking Glass, are known for their nonsensical and in some cases bizarre scenery and events, and have been the inspiration for many other similar works. The popularity and cult following of the story is due largely in part to the Disney movie adaption.

2. What any story, event or experience similar to the events of Alice in Wonderland can be described as. See mindfuck.

3. The state of being in lala land.
1. You've never read Alice in Wonderland? Prepare to have your mind blown.

2. The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask had a very alice in wonderland feel to it, going as far as to have Link fall down a hole that took him to another world.

3. He's been giving his computer screen a blank stare for hours, he's alice in wonderland over there.

Alice in Wonderland

A book by Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, also known as Lewis Carroll, about a (very) young girl who fell down a rabbit hole without gravity and met a bunch of card soldiers and a freaky red Queen of Hearts. This story appeared in Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories XD
This story has been made into a Disney movie which has screwed up a lot of the parts of the original like Disney movies always love to do. It has also been made into a strange video game thing that has freaking great graphics and sound called American McGee's Alice. It features a teenage Alice who went psycho because her family died "because she couldn't do anything about it."
Alice in Wonderland has a sequel, Through the Looking Glass, and What Alice Found There. It is the home of the infamous poem, Jabberwocky.
Much controversy exists about whether the Alice in Lewis Carroll's book is Alice Pleasance Liddell. One of the last poems in Through the Looking Glass is acrostic, and reading down, it spells Alice Liddell's full name. This poem is known as A boat beneath a sunny sky because it has no title and this is its first line.
Alice in Wonderland is a wonderfully interesting story.

Forum Wonderland

A discord server for the people of the Hypixel Forums (a good amount of them being banned for some period of time). The name is deceiving, as it isn't necessarily a 'wonderland'. That being said, it has a decent community within it, has extremely good staff-to-member communication, and has nearly a dozen staff on the Hypixel server. Compared to its once dominant rival (Forum Sweats), the place is much more mature, and you can have a conversation without being interrupted by a shitpost-related gif. The server has a diversity of channels, with the main ones (in terms of activity) being #main (better known as #general), #politics, #shitposting and #advertising-sharing (sometimes). The server is growing at a decent rate when looking at its member count : new members per day ratio. In conclusion, if you're looking for a discord server that revolves around the community within the Hypixel Forums that you can discuss basically anything about without interruption, then Forum Wonderland is for you.
"Hey hot stuff, I'm a moderator in Forum Sweats."
"Ew, get away from me!"
"Oops, I meant I'm a moderator in Forum Wonderland."
"Oh are you now? Well, I suppose I could give you a shot.."

Alice in wonderland syndrom

Alice in wonderland syndrome (AIWS/AWS), also called Todd syndrome is a neurological and harmless syndrome where someone’s surroundings are distorted and people and/or objects might be hallucinated smaller (micropsia), bigger (macropsia), further away (teleopsia) or closer (pelopsia). These episodes usually last 10-20 minutes and can be triggered by migraines, nervousness, specific lighting and fevers. Side symptoms during an episode (can) include dizzyness, sensory hallucinations, body dysmorphia in limbs, difficulty to focus and relax your eyes and losing sense of time. Alice in wonderland is not easily diagnosed due to the fact many cases happen to be in children, who are usually too afraid to tell a parent/adult or aren’t understood when describing their hallucinations. Most children grow out of their Alice in wonderland syndrome at the end of their childhood.
“Did you ever see objects in your room shrink for a while when you were a kid?”
“Yes, it is called Alice in wonderland syndrome”
“Oh, how come its called that?”
“Because it refers to Alice’s body shrinking and growing abnormally in the story, but another name for the condition is Todd syndrome”
“And why’s that?”
“Because someone named Todd was the first person to elaborate his experience with the syndrome.”
