An enormous shit hole located roughly 30 miles south of SEATTLE. Tacoma was named the most romantic city in the United States (no joke) and if you live in western Washington you know what a huge joke that is. Often regarded as the ghetto of western Washington.

Tacoma Narrows Bridge

A fetish among STEM lecturers. Found in nearly every engineering related slideshow, this works as a perfect example for resonance, amplitude, wavelength, harmonic motion, unstable process, twisting motion, finite element analysis, CFD simulation, aerodynamics, calculus I, calculus II, calculus III, miscalculation, general relativity, or the meaning of life. A link leading to a video of the wobbling Tacoma Bridge can be added to any presentation to fill out empty space. Sophisticated students may even use it as an academic source in their Master's thesis.
