When you're so extremely blazed from smoking weed that even the word 'scorched' gets toasted and comes out differently. Resulting in a much superior and expressive term.

Dude 1: 'Man, I'm so sconched right now.'
Dude 2: 'You mean scorched?'
Dude 1: 'Exactly.'"
