Burn Notice

an official statement issued by one intelligence agency to other agencies. It states that an individual or a group is unreliable for one or more reasons or purposes. This is essentially a directive for the recipient to disregard or "burn" all information derived from that individual or group.

"The CIA issued a burn notice on the defector from the Soviet Union after most of his stories were found to be false."

To call in sick to a job, then never show up again, usually out of some form of guilt.

Boss 1: Where's that new guy? He hasn't been here for like 2 days?

Notiphobia

Fear of notifications. May be acute due to ones persona or situation but more often than not can become chronic. It particular applies to social networking sites that offer notifications but may apply to life in general as fear of being told anything.

My emails are accumulating but I am too lazy to delete them just in case they say something important. Maybe I have acute Notiphobia.

(note-a-fail-cay-shun) when an application on your phone fails to alert you in a timely manner, if at all, of an action taken by another person. Pertaining to Facebook, Words with Friends, or any other application where a well-timed or relevant response is a must.

Keith: Dude, it's been your turn for hours, why haven't you played a word yet?

Chris: Man, I never got the notifailcation!

Samsung notification sound

A notification sound usually from a Samsung phone. It seems innocent until, almost every kid in a school makes this freaking noise. They hum the tone, in a usually annoying tone. Usually that's just it, but they combine it with the burger king foot lettuce guy tone and amogus sus memes, it becomes a trigger sound. Otherwise, it's just a notification.

Guy 1: *hums the samsung notification sound*
Guy2: *just fine
Guy1: Sus, buger king foot lettuce, etc and samsung notification sound
Guy 1: Get out of my head x10000
