gone like Roger Daltrey's shirt

A way of emphasizing just how gone something is.
Typically used when something disappears with no trace of where it went whatsoever.

Derived from the Who's lead vocalist, Roger Daltrey, and how in the later years of the band, his shirt would just...poof. It's gone.

"Moooom, my tablet pen is gone!"
"No it's not."
"Yes it is! It's gone like...like...it's gone like Roger Daltrey's shirt!"

too far gone

When a person has been so absorbed in what he/she believes to be true, that no amount of reality, logical or factual explanation or actual proof, to show them that their believe is 100% wrong, will convince him/her otherwise.

The acronym "tfg" is mostly used. (Especially used in political discussions)

Your logical explanation of the facts are falling on deaf ears, because he is too far gone!

A person who is typically an obvious doofus or a dipshit, but are somehow unaware of it. A person who thinks that they are well liked or cool, but are very far from it.
